The CGS Fall Retreat/Strategic Meeting Series was held this month at the stunning facilities of the Moran Center for Global Vision, providing an opportunity for a growing team of more than 20+ persons to connect with colleagues across the University and Health Sciences. Joining the retreat were partners from Ghana, including those from Volta River Authority (VRA) Hospitals, Ensign College of Public Health, and Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. This was the inaugural Retreat involving both the Surgery and Ob-Gyn departments.
The event marked significant agenda setting for the year as the Center pursues stronger ground infrastructure, and to serve the University of Utah global health community with clear-eyed pursuit of its mission to develop the availability of surgical systems worldwide.
