, was honored with the American College of Surgeons award for volunteerism. This was for her extensive work in founding and running IVUmed. This is the largest pediatric and adult urology volunteer organization in the country and sends multiple trips internationally with a goal of training local surgeons to provide advanced urologic care. She has previously received the American Urologic Association medal for distinguished contribution for this work.
