Celebrating the Perfusion Lab & Honoring Don Kimble

Start-up company, StreamDx, founded by Dr. James Hotaling, has just been funded with a Phase IIb Small Business Innovation Research Grant (SBIR) for $2.9 million over the next three years.  Dr. Steve Summers serves as the PI on the prospective clinical trial, which is in part the basis of the grant.

StreamDx has focused on commercializing a point of care home uroflow test which is now FDA approved and on the market.  The data from the clinical trial provides numerous research opportunities for medical students, residents and fellows.
