Greg Hobson, DO, is an Assistant Professor within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah. Dr. Hobson received his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and then went on to complete both his General Surgery & Plastic Surgery residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Hobson attended the University of Utah for his fellowship training in Reconstructive Microsurgery. Until attending the U for fellowship training, he had spent his entire life in the Midwest. He has thoroughly enjoyed the move out West and enjoys exploring the mountains and hiking. He’s looking forward to finding new activities to try out at life elevated.

Dr. Hobson’s clinical interests in plastic surgery include:

  • Comprehensive breast surgery spanning from breast reconstruction for cancer to aesthetic breast surgery
  • Reconstructive surgery for other cancers or trauma
  • Aesthetic surgery of the breast and body
