Overview

PhD in Biomedical Informatics

Our PhD program provides intensive coursework and research training in biomedical informatics. The primary goal of the program is to train students to be independent researchers when they graduate; many of our PhD graduates go on to academic careers.

The admission process is rigorous and we attempt to provide funding for all candidates that are admitted. We work to match people interest with research projects and other mentors. Funding includes:

  • Annual $28,000 stipend
  • 100% tuition coverage
  • Health insurance
  • Support for research conferences
