International & DO Applicant Information

International Medical Graduates

  1. Must have graduated from medical school within the past five years.
  2. Must be ECFMG certified before training begins on June 24.
  3. Must have a clinical J-1 visa before training begins on June 24.
  4. Must have a complete ERAS application.

Traditionally, IMG applicants who have scores over 240 on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK exam with one year of prior training in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia have been the most successful in our program. We encourage all applicants with these exceptional qualifications to apply.

Sponsored Applicants

The IMG guidelines above also apply to applicants sponsored by a government. Sponsored applicants will be ranked and matched through the Categorical Medicine International Partnership track.

US Osteopathic Medical Students

Graduates of US Osteopathic Medical Schools must have a passing score on the USMLE Step 1 exam for their application to be considered. Traditionally, DO applicants who have scores over 240 on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK exam have been the most successful in our program. We encourage all applicants with these exceptional qualifications to apply.
