Dr. Egan Speaks on TIVA Techniques at the MPOG Retreat in New Orleans

Dr. Egan shared the department’s expertise in total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA)   at the annual retreat of the Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG) in New Orleans in association with the annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.  The presentation was, in part, intended as preparation for the upcoming, MPOG sponsored THRIVE study, a study that will compare outcomes between TIVA and standard inhalation anesthesia.
