The department gathered at the University of Utah Alumni House on campus to celebrate the life of Dr. Kevin Wethington, a beloved colleague and friend who recently passed away. Dr. Wethington served the department for over 20 years in various capacities, but most prominently as the Vice Chair of Information Technology. Kevin made numerous contributions to the department, including impressive improvements to the Department’s digital platforms such as the electronic anesthesia record. He will be remembered as a kind hearted, wonderful humanitarian who was a friend to all.
