The Simulation Anesthesia Research Group (SARG), jointed with the American Board of Anesthesiology for a research retreat at the ABA headquarters in Raleigh, NC. SARG is investigating "Decision making during simulated medical crisis" funded through the AHRQ. Dr. Andreae, the Utah site PI, joined ABA researchers and the SARG discussed how residency milestone assessment could be leverage immersive medical simulation for formative feedback to trainees early in residency on how they perform in structured clinical scenarios.
