Dr. Marissa Weber of the Department of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell served as a visiting professor to the Department in late January 2024. Spending two days with the Department, Dr. Weber delivered a research conference, presented a lecture at grand rounds, and shared dinner with a group of faculty members. Dr. Emilee Borgmeier, an assistant professor in the Department who shares interests with Dr. Weber, hosted the visit and facilitated faculty networking. Dr. Weber addressed the implications of GLP1 agonists in anesthesiology, a topic of considerable contemporary interest.
