2018 U-CARS Highlights
On January 11 - 12, 2018, attendees from around the world gathered once again at the 6th Annual Utah Cardiac Recovery Symposium (U-CARS). The two day symposium was held at the University of Utah School of Medicine Eccles Health Science Education Building in scenic Salt Lake City, Utah.
Thursday, January 11th's keynote address was delivered by Milton Packer, MD, Distinguished Scholar in Cardiovascular Science, Baylor University Medical Center. Friday, January 12th's keynote address was delivered by Patrick T. O'Gara, MD, Director of Strategic Planning, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Brigham and Women's, Professor, Harvard Medical School.
The 2018 symposium attracted over 530 attendees, sparked in-depth discussions and featured ground-breaking research from around the globe in the field of cardiac recovery.
