2020 U-CARS Highlights
On January 16-17, 2020, esteemed speakers from around the world gathered for the 8th Annual Utah Cardiac Recovery Symposium (U-CARS). The two day symposium was held at the University of Utah Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House in scenic Salt Lake City, Utah.
Thursday, January 16th's keynote address was delivered by Douglas L. Mann, MD, Medical Director and Cardiologist-in-Chief of the Heart and Vascular Center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Friday, January 17th's keynote address was delivered by M. Elizabeth Hale Hammond, MD, Chairman of the Department of Pathology, LDS Hospital and Urban Central Region, from Intermountain Health Care.
The 2020 symposium hosted over 500 attendees once again and featured ground-breaking research in the field of cardiac recovery spanning clinical, translational and basic sciences.
