Jones Wins Morgan Award

Congratulations to David Jones on receiving the John D. Morgan Award. The Morgan Award is a $5,000 cash award presented each year to an outstanding PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics in memory of John D. Morgan, PhD who passed away in 2006. The award was presented at a seminar on December 4th to David Jones who presented his paper titled Nanoinformatics: Advancing in Silico Cancer Research. A reception followed to honor Mr. Jones. In attendance, representing the Morgan family were Jeremy Morgan and Bel Kerig. Photos from the event are available at the department's Flickr feed.
