Congratulations to Drs. Guilherme Del Fiol and Charlene Weir, et al. who received a Best Paper Award at the Second IEEE Conference on Healthcare Informatics, Imaging, and Systems Biology (HISB). The conference was held at UCSD, La Jolla, California, from September 27-28, 2012. The most innovative ideas were invited for journal publication in JAMIA. Drs. Del Fiol and Weir are co-authors of the study. Other co-authors are collaborators from Mayo Clinic, UNC Chapel Hill, and the NLM. The awarded work is part of a larger, ongoing collaboration among researchers at these institutions.
