Five new PhD, seven new MS, and three new certificate students started in the Department in August. To get them acquainted with BMI, we had the annual new student orientation and a picnic the week before school started. We had BMI faculty and representatives from a variety of departments help everyone begin on the right foot and ready to go for the new academic year.
We also were lucky and dodged a rainstorm by 30 minutes at the picnic in Sugarhouse Park. We had a great evening of repast and camaraderie. Thanks to everyone who brought a delicious dish to share.
