Welcome to the Division of Geriatrics
The Division of Geriatrics began in 1986 and has experienced steady growth ever since. Today, the Division is home to over 25 full-time faculty members, 25 staff members, and an average of five pre and post-doctoral trainees per year. Over the last five years, research expenditures have grown substantially, from $2.4 million to $5.3 million in direct costs annually. As the population of our state and nation ages, the Division of Geriatrics strives to build on this foundation and will continue to produce outstanding researchers, educators, and clinicians.
