The Camp research group focuses on the identification of inherited genetic mutations that increase risk to cancers, specifically breast cancer and hematological malignancies. She utilizes genealogy data in the Utah Population Database (UPDB) together with cancer diagnoses from the Utah Cancer Registry to develop statistical methods for genetic studies on large cancer families.
