The Division of Rheumatology

Welcome to the Division of Rheumatology

The University of Utah Division of Rheumatology is active in the clinical investigation of new therapies for rheumatic disorders. We are recognized both nationally and internationally for our contributions and expertise in inception, design, conduct and reporting of clinical trials.

The Division of Rheumatology faculty members provide quality care at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In addition to our patient care and research, we also provide training through our Fellowship Program and the Annual Utah Rheumatology Association Meeting.

The division seeks to provide exemplary patient care; empowering patient and medical education and collaborative clinical and translational research that will help better understand rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Naomi Schlesinger

Chief, Division of Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology has a tradition of excellence in patient care, education, and research. Our clinical activities emphasize the care of both common and rare rheumatic diseases. We have outpatient clinics devoted to all types of autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal disorders..
