Melisa Moon joins the Department of Neurology as the director of advancement, bringing 30 years of nonprofit and fundraising experience. Previously, she spent 24 years at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. For the last 14 years, she worked as a director of development, securing principal gifts, and recently concluded a $23M capital campaign.

Melisa earned a BA in humanities from the New College of California in San Francisco and is currently pursuing an MA in philanthropic studies from IUPUI. Melisa grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho, has two children, and when not spending time with family, she enjoys being outside and riding her horses.
