Jasmin E. Charles, a graduate of the C41 cohort of the Physician Assistant Studies program, is a dedicated member of the University of Utah ELEVATE Maternal Health Research Center of Excellence, where she and the team are diligently working towards mitigating health risks associated with pregnancy.
“The ELEVATE Center is something I am beyond excited about. As the co-founder and clinical director of the SUPeRAD (Substance Use & Pregnancy Recovery Addiction Dependence) clinic it has been an amazing journey to mold our clinic as we progress and 6 years in see it be the foundation for a department-wide push to receive one of the NIH U-54 grants. I am eager to see what ELEVATE can bring to the greater community and, as the only APC and PA on the team, continue to push for our integration into projects such as these,” said Jasmin E. Charles.
