Growing up as a first-generation Mexican American, my personal experience with health disparities has impassioned me to work with underserved communities. I am deeply honored to receive the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and stand as a future PA dedicated to improving health outcomes and changing the narrative in healthcare of many communities in need. I am grateful to all who have helped me achieve this incredible accomplishment.
