Physician Assistant Students Participate in Project Homeless Connect

by Jennifer Coombs, PA-C, MPAS, PhD

Class 52 students recently participated in Project Homeless Connect at the Salt Palace. The event was organized to provide support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness in the community. The students played an active role in this event, volunteering their time and energy to help set up and run various stations. They worked alongside other community volunteers and service providers to provide a range of services such as healthcare, housing, employment support, and legal aid. Their participation in this event allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the homeless population and the importance of community efforts to address these issues. Overall, the Class 52 students made a significant contribution to the success of the event and demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
