Welcome Michael Adjei-Poku, MD, New Associate Professor - U of U School of Medicine

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Adjei-Poku to the full-time faculty as an Associate Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Adjei-Poku earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, did his internal medicine training at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, and completed his cardiovascular fellowship training here at the University of Utah. Since his fellowship training, Dr. Adjei-Poku has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah.  Dr. Adjei-Poku has had a large and successful general cardiovascular medicine and adult congenital heart disease practice based at Mountain West Cardiovascular Associates at St. Marks Hospital and Granger Medical Clinic.

Dr. Adjei-Poku has a wide clinical practice, including an interest in adult congenital heart disease. Dr. Adjei-Poku will be seeing patients at the University of Utah's South Jordan Health Center, the Stansbury Clinic, and the Cardiovascular Center here at the University Hospital.
