As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise here in Utah, the Program for Addiction Research, Clinical Care, Knowledge, and Advocacy (PARCKA) supports #MaskUpUtah! Some of PARCKA's team has dawned their masks and told us why they mask up. We can all do our part to make sure our community stays safe and healthy.

Doctors from University of Utah Health share the importance of masking up:

"We can all make a difference in terms of wearing a face mask. Studies show it significantly reduces transmission. Since #COVID19 can be spread with or without knowing it, it's critical to wear a mask while around other individuals." - Jeanmarie Mayer, MD.

"With coronavirus, the life you save with a face mask and with distance may not your own, but will be the life of a family member, friend, or a colleague at work" said Michael Good, MD
