Alyssa Mills Recognized with Kirkland Award

Alyssa Mills Recognized with Kirkland Award

Congratulations to Alyssa Mills, a Study Coordinator in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition on her recent Kirkland Award. The Kirkland Award recognizes a Gastroenterology employee whose work performance has great impact on the division’s goals and mission, and whose performance consistently exceeds expectations of their assigned role.

Alyssa was nominated for this award for her willingness to get the job done with a smile, no matter what. She will never say no to a task that is asked of her, and maintains a professional attitude at all times. She is extremely self-motivated, and completes her work in a timely manner while still taking the time to learn new skills if she is assigned something she doesn’t know how to do.

This award is named for Stacey Kirkland, a former manager who served the Gastroenterology Division for 10 years, who had to leave the organization due to an illness in the family. The Kirkland Award honors Stacey for her dedication to the division, and her willingness to put University of Utah PROMISE standards at the forefront of her duties.

Congratulations to Alyssa on this well-deserved award.
