Highlights of the Month
- Andrew Gawron, MD, PhD, was recognized for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to the Acting Executive Director of the VHA National Gastroenterology and Hepatology Program.
- Amiko Uchida, MD, and John Fang, MD, were awarded funding from the Meaningful Use Committee for their proposal for developing GI/Anesthesiology Consent videos.
- Rebecca Kim, MD, MAS, was selected for the Leadership Immersion Program (LIP). LIP is designed to provide faculty with tools, mentorship and experiences to effectively lead in academic medicine.
- Congratulations to Sarah Burton on her abstract being accepted by the 2025 American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM). Abstract title: Coaching for Professional Resiliency and Joy in Work.
- Amiko Uchida, MD, was selected to receive a 2025 ACG Clinical Research Award for her original research.
