Dr. Michael (Mike) Incze recently received the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) Mountain West Regional Award for Advocacy and Community Service.
This award from SGIM recognizes Dr. Incze’s exceptional work in the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD) and with vulnerable patients. His nomination letter cited his being “a thoughtful leader; role model for students, trainees, and colleagues; and an interdisciplinary collaborator” and stated that he “advocates for vulnerable patient populations while also serving these patients with the utmost care.” Dr. Incze was also recently accepted into the University of Utah VPCAT program to further advance his scholarly work in treatment of SUD.
