Celebrating Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) Awards & Leadership Roles

Congratulations to various faculty members in the Division of General Internal Medicine on their recent awards and leadership role appointments from the 2020 Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) Mountain West Regional Meeting that took place virtually November 6-7, 2020. 

Awards

  • Dr. Molly Conroy, Professor and Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine, was awarded the 2020 SGIM Leader in General Internal Medicine Award. 
  • Dr. Katie Lappe, Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was awarded the 2020 SGIM Mountain West Clinician Educator Award. 
  • Dr. Rachel Hess, Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was awarded the 2020 SGIM Mountain West Clinician Investigator Award. 

Leadership Positions

  • Dr. Richmond Doxey served as SGIM Mountain West Membership Chair for 2020-2021.
  • Dr. Jason Penrod will serve as SGIM Mountain West Poster-Abstract Chair for 2021-2022. 
  • Dr. Emily Signor will serve as SGIM Mountain West Membership Chair for 2021-2022.  
  • Dr. Neil Argyle will serve as SGIM Mountain West President-Elect for 2021-2022.
