Blanket Donation Made to the Supportive & Palliative Care Program

Blanket Donation Made to the Supportive & Palliative Care Program

On Friday, February 5th, HOSA Future Health Professional students from Bountiful High School and Woods Cross High School delivered over 300 blankets to members of the Supportive & Palliative Care Program at University Health. Patryk Hughes from Bountiful High School organized the blanket drive between the two schools. The schools held a friendly competition to see who could donate the most blankets. Bountiful was the winner but Woods Cross was not far behind. The Supportive & Palliative Care Program is so honored and grateful for these students who make such a difference! The blankets will be provided to patients to help comfort them while hospitalized. They or their families will be able to keep the blanket to remember the warmth it provided during a difficult time.
