Congratulations to Hematology faculty and trainees who had delivered presentations at the December 2016 ASH meeting in San Diego CA. Drs. Halwani and Stephens presented their clinical trials research on lymphoma. Clinical Fellow Dr. Ami Patel presented a lecture entitled, "Oral-34: Stroma-Based Activation of pSTAT3Y705 Confers Resistance to FLT3 Inhibitors in FLT3 ITD-Positive AML". Two post-doctoral fellows in the laboratory of Drs. Deininger and O'Hare presented their recent work. Dr. Anna Eiring presented, "Oral-34: Stroma-Based Activation of pSTAT3Y705 Confers Resistance to FLT3 Inhibitors in FLT3 ITD-Positive AML" and Dr. Dongqing Yan presented "Oral-636: Selective Inhibition of Nuclear Cytoplasmic Transport As a New Treatment Paradigm in Myelofibrosis."
