The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Foundation announced Dr. Tim Luetkens in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies as a recipient of the 2018 Young Investigator Awards. The NCCN Foundation selects 4 young investigators at the forefront of their field each year to support their career development. These highly qualified researchers are noted for their innovative ideas in improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of care provided to cancer patients. Dr. Luetkens’ innovative research in the laboratory of Professor Djordje Atanackovic focuses on CD229 CAR T cell immunotherapy in Multiple Myeloma. Dr. Luetkens will be awarded $150,000 over a two-year period to support his innovative work.
