Congratulations to Dr. Dennis Winge who was awarded a R01 Competitive Renewal Grant from the NIH National Institute of General Medical Sciences. The grant entitled “Mitochondrial Fatty Acid Synthesis and the Coordinate Regulation of Respiration” is a shared grant with Dr. Jared Rutter in the Department of Biochemistry and will enable a series of trainees to research the regulatory role of the acyl carrier protein in mitochondrial biology. The grant is active until 2022.
