Ninth Annual Hematology Review Conference

The Ninth Annual Hematology Review Conference is scheduled at HCI on Saturday, February 19, 2019.

This meeting is focused on diverse topics such as chronic and acute leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. The keynote speaker will be Kenneth C. Anderson, MD, from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, who will present an early morning lecture focused on multiple myeloma. Dr. Anderson is a distinguished physician-scientist, recent past president of the American Society of Hematology, and a renowned speaker.  Dr. Anderson has developed laboratory and animal models of the tumor in its microenvironment, allowing for identification and validation of novel targets and treatments, translation into clinical trials, and FDA approval of novel targeted therapies. In addition to Dr. Anderson, several of our colleagues will present exciting developments in different areas of benign and malignant hematology. The conference promises to be an excellent opportunity for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, patients, basic scientists and trainees to learn about recent advancements in this field.
