Congratulations to three Division members who were awarded P&F funding from the Center of Excellence in Hematological Malignancies and Hematology. The three awardees include: Dr. Djordje Atanackovic who along with Michael Olson submitted a proposal entitled “CD229-Targeted CAR T Cell Therapy for the Treatment of B Cell Lymphoma”; Dr. Tom O’Hare who along with Dr. Shawn Owen for their proposal entitled “A luminescence-based assay enabling discovery and optimization of sirtuin inhibitors to target AML and other malignancies” and Dr. Paul Shami who along with Dr. Jeffrey Yap for their proposal entitled “Novel Drug Combinations for the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia”. These three proposals were selected from critical review of seven proposal submissions.
