The second annual will be held May 17, 2019 in the HSEB Alumni Hall from 8 AM – 4 PM. The objective of the Symposium is to develop a forum that will catalyze, advocate, and provide education that promotes change, development and improvement for the early diagnosis and management of amyloidosis. The five speakers include: Dr. Giovanni Palladini (Light Chain Amyloidosis Focus); Dr. Vaishali Sanchorawala (The Role of Stem Cell Transplant Amidst Emerging Therapies in the Treatment in AL Amyloidosis); Dr. Mathew Maurer (The Changing Landscape in ATTR Amyloidosis); Dr. Sami Khella (The Impact of Gene Silencers in Neuropathy and Quality of Life in Patients with Familial Amyloidosis); and Dr. Isabelle Lousada (Quality of Life in Amyloidosis).
