Afaf Osman recently graduated from the University of Chicago Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program where she was a leukemia fellow for the past two years. Her clinical interest is in myeloid malignancies. Her research interest is in studying clonal hematopoiesis as a preleukemic condition. Prior to fellowship, she was an internal medicine resident at the Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore. She was born in Sudan and moved to the United states for residency. She enjoys creative writing, cooking and hiking.
