The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies would like to welcome it’s newest faculty member Amandeep Godara, MBBS. Dr. Godara started on October 12.Dr. Godara completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center with a clinical and research interest in plasma cell disorders. His research focuses on developing new therapeutic targets and tools for assessment of treatment response in multiple myeloma, amyloidosis and other monoclonal gammopathies. His work has been presented at national and international scientific meetings. He was the recipient of Amyloidosis Foundation David Seldin, MD, PhD Memorial Research Grant in 2019. He also received training in blood and marrow transplantation at Stanford University. He completed his medical school at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, India and his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University. He will see patients in Clinics 2D and 2E.
