The Division of Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies welcomes a new Physician Assistant, Vasanth Jayaraman. He was born in Nashville, TN, and attended Syracuse University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology. He started a company in India with his dad and ran that for several years prior to attending PA school. He graduated with his Masters in Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma, OKC. He moved to Salt Lake City after his wife accepted a job to be Chief Economist for the Utah Department of Health. He completed one year of the APC Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and is excited to be joining the inpatient Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant Team!
