Welcome Dr. Lindsey Fitzgerald

A New England native, Dr. Fitzgerald completed her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She decided to move West for her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and stayed for her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Her clinical and research interests lie in malignant hematology, specifically CLL and lymphoma. During her fellowship, she was awarded an ASCO Conquer Cancer Merit Award in 2020 for her abstract investigating outcomes of CAR T-cell therapy in the elderly Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma population. She also completed an externship at the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP). Outside of the hospital, she can be found running and hiking throughout the Wasatch. She is excited to join the Division of Hematology at Huntsman Cancer Institute and continue to serve our veteran population at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center.
