Dr. Paloma Cariello, Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Associate Dean for Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, has been accepted into the American Medical Women’s Association’s Professional Development Training Program, Women’s Wellness through Equity and Leadership (WEL) Project. WEL is an 18-month initiative that aims to foster the development of the next wave of women physician leaders to build a healthier and more equitable experience for physicians and patients. Dr. Cariello is the only candidate in U of U Health to be selected for this highly competitive opportunity.
