The Hypertension Symposium held on September 20, 2017 was a big success. The event included rising stars in HTN research and national leaders in the field. Suzanne Oparil, MD, from the University of Alabama gave the keynote presentation:The Department of Internal Medicine co-sponsored the event and several members of internal medicine faculty attended including Molly Conroy, MD; Alfred Cheung, MD; and Srinivasan Beddhu, MD.
