Congratulations to Edward Stenehjem, MD (Infectious Diseases) for being honored to receive the CompHealth Clinical Community Faculty Award. The award, sponsored by CompHealth, was created by the Office of Academic Affairs and Faculty Development and the School of Medicine Alumni Association to recognize outstanding preceptors who work with our students and residents. The Department of Internal Medicine nominated Dr. Stenehjem for his exceptional teaching skills and because he has demonstrated a strong commitment to our students and residents. Dr. Stenehjem is an infectious diseases specialist who received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and his fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
