Rebecca Overbury, MD
Assistant Professor (Clinical)
Rheumatology

Rebecca was born and raised in East Tennessee and first moved to Salt Lake City for her medical residency six years ago. During her residency, she trained to take care of both adults and children. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.

She could not bear leaving Utah behind so she stayed and completed her Rheumatology training at the University of Utah.

She is currently collaborating with colleagues and mentors who are building a transition clinic for adolescents with chronic rheumatic disease. The clinic will better serve patients and help understand the disease and its treatments. She looks forward to continuing to work at the University of Utah.

She loves the outdoors, mountains, aspens, and starry skies. She is currently engaged.
