Shayla Archer, CHES, MS Raised in Oregon and Washington, Shayla came to Utah in 2014 as a student-athlete for the University of Utah. She completed her BS in Psychology in 2017, and her Master’s in Health Promotion & Education at the University of Utah’s College of Health in 2018. Shayla brings her years of experience in the health and wellness field to the Division of Epidemiology, providing administrative support to the Genetic Epidemiology and PARCKA programs. |

Robert Goodman Robert is originally from Richmond, California, but has been living in Salt Lake City for almost 11 years. He is a community-minded professional with over four years of University administration experience, and is very grateful to have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of clinical quality control procedures and medical information systems. Robert enjoys being in nature and volunteering in the community when he can. You can see him riding the bus and/or bike to work; it helps the air quality, alleviates traffic congestion, and it helps him save for those bigger ticket items in life. |

Aubrey Kenney Aubrey is originally from Orange County, California, but has been living in Bountiful, Utah for the last seven years. As of May 2019, Aubrey graduated from Bountiful High School, and will be attending Brigham Young University this fall to study music. From the beginning of June to the end of August, Aubrey will be interning in the Department of Internal Medicine. Aubrey enjoys anything outdoors and loves playing musical instruments, namely the violin and piano. On her spare time, Aubrey enjoys going on hikes, composing music, and drawing. |

Gon Lam Gon is originally from Vietnam and migrated with her family to the United States at a very young age. Her family were among the "boat people" who migrated out of Vietnam after the war. Gon has lived in Utah for over 32 years, and has worked as a nurse for the University of Utah for 4 years in the resource float pool. She started with orthotrauma as a new RN and expanded her experience to other departments. In 2015, Gon recieved her nurse practitioner education through Westminster College and started her career at the LDS Hospital BMT clinic. After working with the BMT team for 4 years, Gon decided to join the amazing team at HCI. |

Darcy Lessley Darcy was born and rasied in Utah and has always lived here. She loves it! Darcy has always worked in the medical field; she was a medical assistant for 13 years, and has also worked in nephrology and pain management. Before joining the Department of Internal Medicine, Darcy spent the last 4 years in Neurosurgey at the U. She has a passion for health care, a tender spot for patient care, and a love for learning. She likes to spend her free time with friends, family, and her dogs. When she can get away on vacation, she travels to Florida to visit her sister and her family. Darcy enjoys BBQs, laughing, and spending time with good people. |

Grace Perry Grace was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She majored in Sociology at Colorado College, with a focus on qualitative methodologies and analysis. She is an avid fiction reader. |

Courtney Rich Courtney grew up in San Francisco, California. Her parents retired in St. George, so she moved to Salt Lake to be closer to them. She started out in Gastroenteroloy as a Scheduling Coordinator 5 years ago, then moved to the Endoscopy lab as their Health Unit Coordinator before being offered a position as a Clinical Care Specialist. Courtney loves kayaking, and tries to go our every weekened during the summer. |

Alanna Wasserman Alanna came from sunny South Florida to Utah in 2018 to get a taste of the mountain life. She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology in 2017. She transitioned her career from animal care to scientific research in 2019 and plans to pursue a master's degree in Environmental Science. Alanna is passionate about fresh, local foods and volunteers with Green Urban Lunch Box, a nonprofit organization with the mission of helping Utahns of all income levels, ages and ethnicities gain access to healthy food using resources available in their communities. |
