After completion of his Chief year, he signed on as clinical faculty at the Boise VAMC. He spent the next 6 years working as a “hybrid” provider, doing a mix of inpatient and outpatient medicine, as well as medical resident and student teaching. In 2015 he was selected as the Chief of Staff for Education at the Boise VA. For the next four years he provided institutional oversite to the Boise VA training programs in this capacity. During this same time he was selected and served as the VISN 20 Academic Affiliations Officer.

He maintained his administrative, clinical work, and resident teaching responsibilities until he transferred to the SLC VAMC in the summer of 2019. He currently works in the Blue team in primary care, and supervises University of Utah Medical Students and Internal Medicine residents as a Staff Physician.

Dr. Argyle loves to spend time in the outdoors with his family and is an avid mountain biker, hiker, backpacker, snowboarder, wakeboarder, and surfer. His wife, Aubree, is a Nurse Practitioner at the SLC VAMC, working in the Women’s clinic. Together they have four children under the age of 8: Avery, Adelynn, Aliyah, and Ayden. Most evenings they can be found attending dance, tumbling, and swimming lessons, or spending time playing in the yard.  Dr. Arglye also enjoys learning how to build things, and home renovation has become one of his hobbies.
