Tyler has worked as a phlebotomist trainer for 13 years with ARUP Laboratories' Transfusion Medicine Division, collecting, testing, and processing blood and platelet donations for patients at University Hospital and Huntsman Cancer; as well as training new phlebotomists.

He has served on the ASCP's Phlebotomy Examination Committee since 2012, and as Chair of the committee for four years, where he helps write their phlebotomy and donor phlebotomy certification exams. Tyler brings years of laboratory and regulation experience to the COVID-19 Serology Survey study.

Janelle Crowther

Janelle completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University in 2017 with a focus in neuroscience research and minors in Philosophy, Business, and Theatre. She has a passion for mental health and helping others as best she can. She has 4 years of experience implementing behavioral plans and designated interventions for clients suffering from various neurobehavioral conditions.

She is currently working with the PARCKA team as a research assistant on several local and national projects. Her professional desire is to become a university professor and help teach others about behavioral and medical health.

Ashely Hagemann

Ashley is from Seattle, Washington and recently moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She brings over 10 years of clinical research experience to the PARCKA team. Prior to moving to Utah, Ashley was responsible for the oversight and management of phase I-IV clinical oncology trials across North America. She also has extensive professional experience working in drug development including the management of preclinical research at Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories.

Ashley enjoys spending her free time outside and is an avid rock climber, skier, and kayaker. Recently, she rescued two stray cats from the pound named Ron Swanson and Tammy II.

Daniel was born and raised in Murray, Utah. He attended the University of Utah for an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Psychology. He later earned his MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and a certificate in Data Analysis. Throughout his career Daniel has found a love for taking complex data structures and modeling dashboards and visualizations tailored to end users to help drive decisions and garner insights.

When he isn’t working, Daniel is an avid cyclist and loves getting out to ride up the beautiful canyons around Salt Lake.

Andrea is originally from Upper Michigan. She completed her education at the University of Utah in the College of Health and has been involved in basic and clinical research in the Health Sciences for over 20 years. She has facilitated research collaborations across several disciplines and is very excited to contribute to the research mission of DGIM. When she’s not working, Andrea enjoys cycling, hiking, and skiing in the mountains and canyons, near and far.
