Funding Opportunity To Create Academic Entrepreneurship Hubs
NIH has reissued their Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hub (REACH Program). The purpose of the program is to help realize unique scientific advances of biomedical discoveries into commercially viable diagnostics, devices, therapeutics, and tools that improve patient care and health. The new REACH Hubs are intended to advance prior lessons learned from previous REACH Hub awardees to position them to obtain future funding such as in the private sector in the form of viable start-up companies or a licensing opportunity.
